Letting Go
"The weakest saint can experience the power of the Diety of the Son of God if once he is willing to "let go". Any strand of our own energy will blur the life of Jesus. We have to keep letting go, and slowly and surely the great full life of God will invade us in every part, and men will take knowledge of us that we have been with Jesus."
-Oswald Chambers
does life ever seem like a constant attempt of facing challenges and then learning to let them go-one by one? It has to been as of late. But how does one "let go"? I keep coming back to Psalm 55:22, "Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you." Why is it so much easier for us to "hold my burden tightly and try to sustain myself?" Chambers also says, "...burdens placed on us by God which He does not intend to lift off, He wants us to roll them back on Him." We are also to roll ourselves into His arms...and in that companionship, the burden is lifted.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength. Thank you Father for being a provider and protector -
